Meet Your Farmers
Josh Bryceson and Rama Hoffpauir are the farmers behind Turnip Rock Farm and Cosmic Wheel Creamery. Together with their family and farm crew, they have built a diversified organic farm where vegetables, livestock, pasture, and cheesemaking are all connected.
Their approach begins with care for the soil and the belief that a healthy farm should function as a living ecosystem. The farm’s grass-fed cows provide milk for Cosmic Wheel Creamery’s handcrafted farmstead cheeses, while livestock, perennial pastures, annual vegetable crops, and wildlife habitat work together to build fertility and resilience.
Josh and Rama are committed to producing nourishing food while strengthening the connections among farmers, eaters, animals, and the land. Visitors to Turnip Rock can experience a working farm shaped by years of knowledge, creativity, cooperation, and thoughtful stewardship.

Turnip Rock Farm is our home and our livelihood. A whole farm ecosystem with annual vegetables, perennial grass pastures, and wildlife habitat integrated into the fold. We aim to create something lasting and to live by the tenant that the land does not belong to us, but that we belong to the land.

Farmers, Turnip Rock & Cosmic Wheel Creamery
Everything on Turnip Rock Farm has purpose. Every animal, insect, fungi, bacteria and human is linked in a web of interdependence. On our farm nothing goes to waste and we try to allow each aspect of our farm to compliment and support every other aspect.
Eating can be a reminder that we rely on the earth to sustain us. Our food decisions will continue to change our landscape and our community. With this in mind, we go about farming and we invite you to join us in eating. As an eater, we (your farmers) are linked to you not just by economic necessity but also by values and a vision of a vibrant and healthy future.
